Maeve Malley-Ryan

Maeve Malley-Ryan was sent to London for to pursue a scholarship in the Art of Acting at The Arts Educational School in the eminent suburb of Chiswick.

She trod the boards of London in famous venues such as The Riverside Studios and The Finborough Theatre, receiving positive notices from the printed press but sighs of exasperation from the family seat in Ireland.

Her taking of an English lover courted further controversy, but her more recent teaching of young people in the Art of Acting has been deemed a more suitable pursuit for a young lady of modest means.

In her leisure time, Maeve enjoys embroidering suffragette slogans onto ladies' trousers and writing secret socialist literature for the Irish independence movement.
